In 2025, ArtEcon Initiative together with the New Haven Free Public Library Mitchell Branch will present four programs featuring Connecticut children’s authors and/or illustrators. Program’s will be geared toward children of different age groups. We will host authors or illustrators who have published picture books for children under the age of 10, as well as authors/illustrators who have published compelling children’s fiction, chapter books, or graphic novels, for children ages 10+.

Each program will include a live reading by the author or illustrator, a question-and-answer session, and hands- on art workshop in the community room at the Mitchell Branch.
